Found Ithaka
My work deals with the subconscious. When I create in my studio, it’s more of a subconscious rendering than a conscious one. I didn’t know how to think about this piece when it presented itself out of the kiln until I wrote an article for Enneagram Monthly. The atmospheric quality of this piece is reminiscent of the summer that I studied in Greece during college. It was on the island of Poros that I chose to memorize Cavafy’s poem… Ithaka.
Found Ithaka is the subconscious rendition of the adventures experienced from the ship on the horizon. It’s my lifelong journey incorporating Graphology, Enneagram & Glass Art.
