Duanggamon Elizabeth Duncan (Liz) is a glass artist originating from Thailand. She
holds her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in glass at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Liz has been
working with glass since 2018, after taking a freshman elective class where glass was introduced
as a medium of expression. Captivated by the experience, she decided to pursue glass as her
major, using glass and other materials as a means of communication. Growing up in a foreign
country she had to speak two languages to communicate. She noticed that even with the extra
language that there are still gaps in communication. Intending to bridge the gap, Liz materializes
her experiences as works of art.
